This year's seen football make the headlines for all the wrong reasons. It’s clear that our beautiful game has an ugly underside when it comes to violence against women. With arrests and charging of high profile football players for domestic and sexual abuse, as well as protests from fans at the signing of a known rapist, we're calling on the FA and Premier League to confront football's culture of gender-based violence.
We’re campaigning for the reforms of laws relating to online abuse and robust regulation of the tech platforms perpetrators use, so those responsible are held accountable.

Preventing abuse
Violence against women and girls is widespread, but it is not inevitable. There is concrete action that can be taken to prevent it, so that women and girls don’t become victims in the first place.
Supporting women and girls
Recovery and healing are an essential part of justice. Our movement has worked to provide access to quality, specialist support for decades, and continues to advocate for sustainably funded women’s support services.
A different world is possible
We can create a world in which women and girls are free from the threat of male violence. We believe that a different world is possible; a world in which women and girls live equally alongside men.
